[ A few minutes later, Genji realizes that there are some things he should ask Jack as well. Typing like this is a pain, but he can manage it. ]

How did your mission go?

Went about as well as it could have. Just waiting on Young.

It's about as fun as it sounds.

[ It's not like Genji doesn't know how it is to have your body altered in a way that you find uncomfortable and repulsive. At least in Jack's case, it's temporary. ]

In that case, I hope you can be returned to normal soon.

[He lets the conversation end there, figuring he's said all that he needs to. Jack is trying to ride this out in seclusion, not wanting to draw suspicion to himself or fellow COST members. Any connection made between him and the cell might blow his cover.

Still, he's been into the mines and emerged successfully with the Ymir, so perhaps he could stand to regroup, despite his many reservations about making an appearance before Young can find him.

Genji seems like a good place to start, and despite the destruction of COST's villa, it's not hard to track down the other members of the cell (the fact that he can outright sense artificial individuals now helps a little). He pins him down easily in a vacant building and is just gonna.

[ What's the most startling is that Jack finds him at all. Genji doesn't believe that he's made it obvious where he went, but there's also only so many spots that the COST members could have settled, with the villa destroyed. Really, he shouldn't be surprised. Jack's experienced enough to make educated guesses and figure out where an ex-Overwatch agent would go.

Also startling, however, is that his voice seems to be exactly the same. Genji would have thought that temporarily getting turned into a giant spider creature would alter that, but the familiarity isn't unwelcome.

With some effort, he stands and moves over to the door, taking a moment to brace himself before he opens the door with his one remaining hand. There is Jack, with way too many eyes and way too many limbs, but some of his features are still intact. It's uncanny, to say the least. ]

Jack. [ Genji permits himself to stare for a few seconds, before he moves to the side, allowing Jack to step inside. ] Did something happen?

[ Jack hadn't seemed eager to let anyone see him, so what changed his mind? ]
